The Season Of Deliverance

Part Two Of A Three Part Journal On Bible-Based Deliverance, New Year's Message 2004

All the miracles that God performed in Egypt to bring Israel out of bondage only set the stage. They really effected no deliverance. It was totally and completely the cross of Christ, registered in the symbolism of the slain Lamb, which brought Egypt to her knees, and victory to Israel. Bible deliverance is not just for sinners who have not come to Christ, but as God told Moses to tell Pharaoh - "let MY people Go." We as Christians need to reconsecrate our faith as we enter into another year and fully anchor it in man's only hope for true deliverance - the finished work of redemption by Christ on the Cross.

TEXT: Exodus 3:8  - And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exodus 5:1
And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

We are in the most crucial hour of history in the Body of Christ. As I write this New Year's message this last year has seen many tremendous events take place that will eventually bring prophetic events to place. My dad's singing group ended a 30-year tenure of singing gospel music on New Year's Eve. My dad told the crowd that evening that he had been in the ministry himself over 30 years and that should the Lord even tarry 15 years he'd be alive to see things he'd preached about for just that long. Neighbor that is the importance of this hour we are in. It's harvest time and it's getting late.

There are two churches on planet Earth today. One church is man's church - a top heavy institutionalized organization full of dead men's bones with nothing more than political machinery running it without even the recognition it is backslidden and in need of the Risen Christ to breathe life back into it. The other church is the TRUE CHURCH, a body of believers sold out totally to GOD only - not to a denomination - not to a movement - not to a doctrine - not to a belief system - but whose hearts have been washed pure and clean by the precious blood of the lamb. They are full of the Holy Ghost, some even talk in those other tongues, believe in the full power of the Holy Ghost for THESE DAYS, not yesterday, always trusting God, always seeking the Lord, interceding for the nation, their families, the body of Christ at large and seeing God moves in their lives each day. This journal is for the latter. The modern church world rejects the teaching of bible deliverance today. I know that sounds harsh but it's the truth. If it were not so and the institutionalized church embraced biblical deliverance society would be a lot different and our church atmospheres would be a lot different! (And there would a LOT of so-called Christian psychologists out of work!)

This message is to encourage you involved in the struggle of true bible faith today. The enemy is cruel as Pharaoh. It was the enemy, the devil, who controlled Pharaoh when he put Israel into slavery after the death of Joseph. It is the enemy's goal to enslave men to passionate ungodly lusts and sin in order to destroy their souls. Never forget that. It may sound like a trite statement but it holds tremendous truth. Our battle on earth is over eternal things, not temporal ones. It don't matter how large your home is or the car. It doesn't matter how large the bank account is. What DOES matter is where you will spend eternity friend. Eternity is a long time. It never ends and everyone of you reading this journal today is headed in one or two eternal directions - HEAVEN OR HELL. There is no in between. There is no purgatory. There is no holding tank to see if you're worthy to enter sainthood. When we all die the next second after our last breath on earth will be in one of those two places. The soul of man is eternal and thus the decisions we make here on earth hold tremendous importance. We make them every day, every second, every hour. Eternity beckons with the consequences of those choices.

Fight The Good Fight Of Faith, Not Works

Along those lines it is further important where we have our faith. Our fight is the good fight of FAITH. As we stated in part one of this journal, sin is not our battle. Demons are not even our battle. This fight over sin, sickness, death, the flesh and Satan were won LONG ago by the Lord when He cried "it is finished!" If you're fighting against sin or doing things in order to garner victory over a bondage in your life - friend you've already lost and don't even know it. That is not meant to discourage you. I pray that by reading what I feel strongly the Lord wanted me to say in this New Year's journal will help you and encourage you to place your faith and ANCHOR it there in the cross of Christ. HE has already won your victory. HE has already defeated demon powers. HE has already defeated LUST. HE has already defeated sin. HE has already defeated poverty and sickness. HE has already defeated the sin nature of man. He came in the form of sinful man and CONDEMNED sin IN THE FLESH, not as God, but as MAN, and thus secured eternal salvation for those who will but put their trust and faith in HIM.

1 Tim. 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses
.

In man's church you will hear a basket full of formulas and claims offering you deliverance. You will hear from most preachers that if you will just "do" thus and so, that your problem will supernaturally go away. It won't. The fight we are engaged in is similar in type to the battle Moses faced when bringing Israel out of Egyptian bondage. You don't need to fight battles that Jesus has already won and fought! You don't need to fight the devil and demon spirits which Jesus has already defeated at the Cross. As we have said all throughout these two journals, the fight in which we should be engaged in is "the good fight of faith." Whenever we fight correctly, which is to fight the good fight of faith, which refers to having Faith in Christ and what He accomplished at Calvary, irrespective of what Satan may then try to do, the Holy Spirit will stop him forthwith. Satan loves us "fighting" him and his demons, but he wants NO part of the Holy Spirit!

All the great things our Lord purchased for us at Calvary were not bought cheap. They were paid for with blood. When we anchor our faith in His blood, the Holy Spirit brings us the benefits of that powerful cleansing flow. Christ left NOTHING undone at the cross that we need to add to or take away from in this great battle of faith. Every single thing Adam lost in the fall was totally and completely addressed at the Cross, thus there is no reason any Christian should walk in defeat in any area of their lives. If we do walk in constant defeat it's not something we have not "done," but more something we have not "believed!"

Satan will fight us as believers in the realm of our faith. Every single attack leveled against a believer by Satan, whether it be physical, financial, material, domestically or spiritual is ALL for one purpose, and that is to destroy, or at least seriously weaken our faith. He wants us to lose faith altogether, and baring that, at least get our faith shifted from the Cross of Christ (where his defeat was made FINAL and complete), to other things. To be sure, Satan does not care what the other "things" are. Many times the other "things" are very religious and spiritual in nature which just adds to our deception. We think these "things" are producing victory in our lives until Satan hits us with the proverbial "kitchen sink" and we realize "hey this isn't working either."

The faith of most is NOT in "Jesus Christ and Him Crucified," but rather in Jesus and the "church," or Jesus and the "giving of our money," or Jesus and our "good works and deeds," we do in His name. Does this mean we are not to do good works? NO! Does this mean we are not to tithe and give to the work of God? NO!! Does this mean we are not to pray, seek God, fast and read our bibles? NO! If our faith is in any of these things however to gain us victory neighbor, God will not recognize that faith!

Moses faced an enemy and foe in Pharaoh that was not going to buckle under threats and decrees  - even from the man of God. This was going to be a conflict that would end with the death of one nation and the birth of another. And that is something all of those reading this journal must get squarely in their minds. This fight is to the death neighbor. It's either to the death of the sinful nature within us, or it's going to be the death of our souls! Satan's fight is over such matters.

I feel led to interject a quick thought on that last statement. While Satan fights for eternal matters and the Kingdom of God is built upon eternal matters, I ask again why do we in the church major on temporal ones? Why do we spend over $5 billion (like the body of Christ did last year alone) on new building projects, yet spend less than ONE billion dollars on world evangelism and outreach? Why do we spend millions and millions of dollars each year to finance the Christian entertainment industry to come in and sooth our people and make them feel "uplifted," while many sit on those pews being "uplifted," while never facing the stark cold reality their souls are lost without God and en route to a devil's hell? I'm not a big fan as you can tell and yes there are some past issues here that I seek daily to reconcile with God over my personal feelings. I'm not the judge of the Christian contemporary music scene or Christian rock scene. I've bit many an apple out of a bitter basket many years back when as a youth pastor in a small southern Georgia town I lost 75% of my youth for not allowing it come into the church. I lost friends and even had the senior pastor at odds with my decision. The leadership of the denomination I belonged to at the time succumbed to the spirit eventually with the leader calling on the churches to be "tolerant" of it.

Now some 15 years later, we have a generation of youth that are bored with our services to the point Christian entertainment has become more popular than preaching. Christian rock bands come in blaring their music and smoke like something in a Las Vegas night club and that's the only way most youth will darken our doors. We need revival! We need deliverance. Neighbor, the issues facing us as we enter this coming year are ETERNAL in nature, not temporal ones. Satan fights on an eternal plane yet we fight on a temporal. We build our buildings, proclaim our education and brag and brag and brag about how great our sanctuaries are compared to our neighbor's church down the street - it's all DEMONIC and DEVILISH in nature. It's the pride of life and it needs to be rooted out in 2004 if we are to see a true move of God in our churches. Don't take issue on the contemporary Christian music industry please. I'm not judging motives or judging those who perform. Most in the industry are in it for the money only, not ministry. But that can be said of a great many of ministers of the gospels in general as well. I'm not singling out one group. The Southern Gospel industry long ago betrayed their calling for the almighty dollar. The current generation of Christian performers are just following their ancestors' lead. God help us.

I told my dear dad the other day (he sings in a southern gospel group) that no where in scripture is it found that music was ordained to take the place of evangelistic preaching of the gospel to win souls. Music is to uplift believers and encourage those who are discouraged. It has a POWERFUL place in the Kingdom of God. That's why Satan has taken it and perverted it and destroyed the purity of its power through greedy concert promoters who will block 85% of God-anointed singers from coming to a small church that can't afford the "fee" they charge. GOD HELP US. The early church would blush and turn over in their graves if they were alive today to see the sell-out of the modern gospel today in the environment of greed and malice the 21rst Century church finds itself in. We need revival friend. We need a deliverance. We need our hearts torn to pieces by the Holy Spirit so we can see our fallen condition.

Getting back to deliverance, let me state this. There was no earthly way for Israel to come out of Egypt without supernatural help and friend, there is NO EARTHLY WAY FOR YOU AND I TO COME OUT OF OUR EGYPT WITHOUT SUPERNATURAL HELP! We need the power of the HOLY GHOST working on our behalf to deliver us and bring us out of the mud pits. Many fight Pharaoh and the hoards of hell itself every day. Many fight bravely, faithfully yet many fight a battle already won. In such a conflict where we find ourselves doing the fighting, the Holy Spirit will NOT help the believer! To be sure, without the help of the Holy Ghost, we simply cannot overcome!

Who Is The Lord, That I Should Let Israel Go?

Exodus 5:2-19 -  And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go. [3] And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. [4] And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. [5] And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens. [6] And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, [7] Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. [8] And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. [9] Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard vain words.  [10] And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. [11] Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished. [12] So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw. [13] And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfill your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw. [14] And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?  [15] Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants? [16] There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people. [17] But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the Lord. [18] Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. [19] And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.

Pharaoh was not going to let Israel just walk out of Egypt without a fight. I want to encourage someone reading this journal right now. Some have their faith anchored in the cross and still are not seeing victory. Maybe some reading this journal right now have been doing everything I've been admonishing you to do through God's word, yet the struggle is still there. Let me tell you today that just because Pharaoh isn't budging now, doesn't mean Pharaoh will never budge. Moses couldn't see the future but he knew that the day would come when the Lord would bring Israel out. At this moment in this story Satan caused Pharaoh to make the Israelites' task even harder. That is the story of deliverance many times. Right before the moment of breakthrough and victory the battle gets even hotter and worse. My word to you today is "keep the faith and keep believing!" Don't lose faith just because the enemy takes the straw from you to make bricks. Pharaoh's arrogance reeks of the spirit in modern man today.

There are some who will never grasp these truths simply because of unbelief and pride. For them their plight will be with those in Egypt. We are NOT OF THOSE OF EGYPT - we are the children of GOD! We know that this fight is but for a moment and glory and joy unspeakable is coming in force SOON! Moses did exactly what we should do when the enemy strikes back - RUN TO GOD! Don't run anywhere else. There is no refuge from the storm anywhere other than the Cross of Christ. There is no other refuge than in the loving arms of Christ. So many get discouraged in this fight and lose hope and faith. It's a horrible thing to lose faith. Friend, I've been there in the not too distant past and it's the worst state any person can be in - especially for one who had faith at one time and lost it. Hang on. We read this story and we know the end of it. Moses didn't see the end but kept believing. Many in the nation of Israel began to murmur against Moses and Aaron. Their murmuring didn't stop God for delivering them. Made it harder, but it didn't stop Him! :)

The Charge Of Moses And Aaron

Exodus 5:20-6:Exodus 6:11-16 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh: [21] And they said unto them, The Lord look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. [22] And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? [23] For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all. [6:1] Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. [2] And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: [3] And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. [4] And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. [5] And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. [6] Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: [7] And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. [8] And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord. [9] And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. [10] And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land. [12] And Moses spake before the Lord, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? [13] And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

As stated, Pharaoh is a Biblical type of Satan, the present ruler of this age. His devices used to keep Israel in bondage are a type of Satan's devices to keep us in bondage today. His oppressive authority was rooted in his selfish ambition and rebellious nature. Moses, on the other hand is a type of Christ, who has come to set God's people free.

Deut. 18:15
The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Moses life was a prophet foreshadowing of the Prophet to come. Israel rejected Christ the first time, but He will come a second time in power to save Israel from her sins and enemies. Moses was rejected by Israel the first time, but came a second time in great power to deliver Israel from Pharaoh.  Sometimes the greatest mountain to climb in our deliverance is not the enemy or hell - it's those we know and love the most - our families, friends and loved ones. Under Pharaoh Israel lived a life of toil and treachery. Yet, many in the nation would have rather stayed in the mud pits than to have followed Moses, God's man given the charge to bring them out.

Some may be reading this today with a call and charge on your life to be a light to your family. Your family may be one of the largest areas of discouragement in the things they say and do to hinder your walk with God. That is another aspect of this battle! I've told you througout it's not easy! This is a fight friend. Don't lose heart and faith. God sees where you're at. HE put you where you are at right now. He knows every word spoken about you, to you and against you. He may seem silent but His silence does not mean His ignorance of the situation. You can fully trust the fact that God is your final judge and the one who has anointed you with the words you speak (if your faith is in the right place!)

Moses had authority because of his suffering and humility. Spiritual authority and warfare is not a game of cowboys and Indians. Many claim to have authority on earth but its just fluff and false. True spiritual authority seeks to set men free, false spiritual authority is totalitarian in nature and brings men into bondage.

I want to stay on this just a second. Nothing in life is accomplished without toil. (I'm not referring to labor; man labored in the garden and cultivated it before the fall; God does not condone laziness!) Toil is work that is accomplished with GREAT and PAINFUL effort. We labor so many times in the Kingdom of God, but the Lord's  yoke is easy and His burden is light. In HIS KINGDOM, far more is accomplished with less effort. All toil brings weariness, but the labor in Christ, regardless of whether it is a secular or spiritual endeavor, brings rest and refreshment.

Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

The attempts of Satan, like Pharaoh, is to enslave us no matter how subtle and innocent those things we do look or seem. At times most of what is promised freedom in the church world today is actually just wrapped up bondage! The world's "freedom" too brings bondage. The more "free" society becomes in its pursuit of satisfaction and ease, the more sinful it becomes. Look at the "sexual" revolution of the 1970s. Sex between married people was scorned as being too "narrow minded," and "intolerant" of a 'better' more 'freer' lifestyle. Yet we have paid the price with the death of millions of people worldwide of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Satan's freedom brings death. God's freedom brings LIFE. Moses' charge was to bring God's freedom to Israel, not Pharaoh's! The appetite of man's sinful nature is only increased with growing satisfaction in new and different experiences but they bring less and less fulfillment. Then the degree of perversion must be increased until one is finally consumed and ultimately destroyed.

In the religious arena the same is true. Many men of God, be it stated they may be well-meaning, nice men, have become nothing more than taskmasters over their congregants. A true shepherd leads the sheep, he never beats them or fleeces them. A true shepherd never becomes the Holy Spirit to his people, but allows God to change HIM first, then through the word of God given to him by God, allows the Holy Spirit, not his own methods, to change the flock. Many promise freedom in their churches but their freedom is just a door to a totalitarian obedience to their own misguided church rules and further bondage. Some reading this journal are part of such movements. This reason here is one of the main reasons there is a growing trend of people leaving denominational churches including many in the Pentecostal and Charismatic camps as well. There is a growing trend where people would rather sit in a dead church and feel free than go where the Spirit of the Lord may be in a measure but the church is filled with religious demons seeking to enslave men's hearts and minds.

Bondage is cruel and harsh. It doesn't matter what form it takes. Most of the time the worst bondage someone can be in is religious bondage tied to a legalistic system and church government that tries to produce righteousness in their people through rules, threats and intimidation. I know of scores of people at home right now vowing never to darken the door of church again because of such demonic foolishness. Christ came to set us free, religion never does that. As Peter says, legalistic preachers "promise freedom," but are themselves "servants of corruption."

2 Peter 2:19
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Moses was rejected yet still obeyed the charge put on him by God to tell Pharaoh to let Israel go. That is true spiritual authority. Moses was able to stand face to face with the leader of the most powerful nation in the world yet just a few months prior demanded God send someone else. His life is a warning to the church leadership today.

There are many in the church world who lust for power. Many drive for control while trying to hide ourselves from the hurt and pain of rejection. This lust causes us to maintain dominion over our "little" kingdoms while never being the "MOSES" to our people. It is only when we LOSE OUR LIVES in CHRIST and the finished work at His cross that we can be true leaders. This generation of young preachers have got to be the most arrogant, rude, obnoxious I think I've ever seen. Those who have truly surrendered their lives to Christ will not be intimidated by challenges or dismayed by rejection. Those who exercise authority with selfish motives are corrupt, regardless of what piety they show. They are no better than Pharaoh. We need a generation of Moses' who will handle authority with the greatest care, knowing that we are mere servants ourselves.

My brother said something riveting the other night about our current President. He said that President Bush views his presidency as an "honor," in contrast to Mr. Clinton who many times viewed his presidency as a "RIGHT." In other words, many decisions Mr. Bush makes are based upon his sincere belief he is SERVING the people. Mr. Clinton made decisions based on the belief HE was the HEAD over the people and he alone could chose what is best. (HILARY FEELS THE SAME WAY by the way). Clinton saw the Presidency as a tool of power; Bush sees it as a tool of service. That contrast is found in many in the ministry today. For this generation to experience the deliverance it needs to we must return to submissive, humility among our church leadership. If we don't then no deliverance will be forthcoming! There are two kinds of leaders: those who use people for their own interest and those who sacrifice themselves FOR the interest of the people. Moses was like the latter. Pharaoh was like the former.

To the degree we strive to obtain freedom on our own merit and worth, it is to that degree we lose the very authority needed to find the place of victory many seek! Let that sink in. Moses had a charge and the church of this generation has a charge as well - "GO TELL THE DEVIL TO LET MY PEOPLE GO!" The Holy Spirit will only work within the parameters of the cross and friend there is NO FLESH that is worthy to boast and glory in the presence and beauty of Calvary!

1 Cor. 1:29 - That no flesh should glory in his presence. [30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

For Pharaoh his authority was an opportunity for self-promotion and self-exaltation; for Moses, his authority was an opportunity and call to self-sacrifice.
Moses didn't care what happened to his own life in this great conflict between God and Pharaoh. His life meant nothing to himself. If we are to see true deliverance, then too our lives cannot mean anything to us either!

Rev. 12:10-12
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. [11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death. [12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

As we close this second part of this series of journals on deliverance, let me state a few other things then I want to pray with you today. Selfish ambition is one of the most destructive things in ministry today and it hinders the delivering power of the Holy Spirit so many times! When men are established in positions of authority before having been freed themselves from the carnality and sin nature of Adam, the result is usually a totalitarian leader with legalistic demands on his people without understanding that FAITH ALONE saves and FAITH ALONE keeps us saved! Saving faith is not a sinning faith either. True saving faith sets men free from sin! True faith in Christ changes our hearts and lives. True faith draws a line in the sand and says Satan, nothing you throw at me matters. I'm a dead man and if you want my life you have to go to God and get it. If God wants it - I belong to Him anyway and He can have it. YOU CAN'T DEFEAT A MAN LIKE THAT!!!! You can't bring a man or woman like that under bondage! They are free because the SON has set them free! That's AUTHORITY! That's the type leadership we need today.

We are only truly free to the degree the KING is in us. Men cannot change other men. Only Christ can and we will take that up in the final part of this series on deliverance. Israel needed a supernatural deliverance and you and I need the same thing today. There is no earthly cure for sin. It is found in the Son, who, when HE sets us free, we are FREE indeed! Praise God. Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You today for Your grace that sets us free. Lord, we accept the charge You've placed on THIS GENERATION to be the harvest generation. We stand in the gap today for the souls of men and pray you help us be the voice of deliverance to many in these last waning hours prior to judgment. Help us point souls to the cross of Christ and nowhere else. There are no other avenues for man to find peace and redemption. There is only ONE.
Lord I bless You today and ask You to grant those reading these journals the encouragement needed to keep fighting the good fight of faith. I pray they lay hold onto eternal life. Help us to never waver in our faith in Christ. Thank you for saving us, delivering us and healing us. In your name we pray, Amen.
